Tricks for Fun Adventures with Kids
Do your kids fuss before adventures? I know I’m not the only one!🙋♀️
⚠️Focus on what they love to do.
⚠️Provide potentially dangerous fun.
⚠️Act like it’s their idea.
(Just one of my Jedi-Mom tricks.)
You know that kid who is going to complain no matter where you want to go?
👉👉Tell me I’m not the only one?!
Skateboard or scooter.
Ramps, jumps, and “bowls”.
Something about the potential of broken bones makes them willing to drive to the skate park. 🩻🦴
👉Search for ”skate park” and head out adventuring.
Tip 1️⃣: If you go an official skate park, you can point to the sign that says “Helmets required”. Now you’re not a nag. You’re just a rule followers. 😃
Tip 2️⃣: Even if you don’t have a skater, you have a kid who loves slides and rolling their cars on ramps. Go for it!
Tip 3️⃣: Take a book and a camping chair. Sit under a tree and rest. It really can be the ultimate busy mom rest day. If you can quit micromanaging their every move…😏
✅Call it physics and PE and growing in skills and confidence building. Done.
You need some new ideas for day trips from home for some great new family adventures.
