Teen Hiker Promotes Leave No Trace
Just my kid. Drinking’ beer. 😁
Or my teenager doing her part to clean up the space around the picnic tables after we ate lunch. 👏🏻👏🏻
Keep some old plastic bags in your hiking gear. Family hikes always end up needing them!
🥾Wrap up wet clothes from that “accidental” fall
🥾Hold the muddy kid shoes when they decide to go barefoot
🥾Use them as socks when the shoes got stuck in the mud - recent true life 🤣
🥾Pack out your snack trash
🥾Gather all the nature treasures your kids collect
🥾Use an extra bag as an impromptu glove to pick up litter
🥾Clean up what other people overlooked… or didn’t care about? 🤔
It doesn’t take much to make an impact. After our waterfall hike picnic, she and I just filled up the empty bag with litter before properly throwing it out. Lunch bag, bread bag, fruit bag… Grab something easily available; they all do the job.
Today is February’s #impactday for @keepnaturewild and I’m excited to be an ambassador with these lovely nature-loving people.🏔️🌲💦
Be a sustainability sweetheart, and do your part. (Like the rhyme? 😁) And to show your kids how to do theirs!
👉Go be “trashy” today! 😉
