Mammoth Fossils at National Park Exhibit

Did you know there are mammoths in Waco? Dare I say there are even cooler than Chip and Joanna Gaines down the road? Or is that heresy these days? 🤣 . . Even though we went several years ago, not everyone remembered it… So it was worth another quick stop. Especially since two kids admitted this wasn’t the place they thought i was talking about. Granted, I never figured out what place that was… Dinosaur National Monument maybe? . . For a small cost, you walk the short path from the visitor center to the building which has been built around this only nursery herd of mammoths - together with some big males and a prehistoric camel and saber tooth tiger. . . Go visit your National Parks! Quit waiting for somewhere far away to magically happen and go to the places nearby. You might just find out they’re equally worth it. . . One word: mammoths 😃
