Student Portrays Historical Figure Orville Wright
Cutest little Orville Wright ever...

Our annual Faces of History program was last night with my 14 4th-6th grade students each presenting on the person they researched and wrote a paper about. These kids never cease to impress me with their ability to stand up in front of a crowd and recite from memory. Something that would freak out lots of grown ups!

.
And this is why they weekly give presentations at our Classical Conversations co-op. All in preparation for skills they need later. CC plus Awana memory work has made my kids into some amazing memorizers. Love it!

He picked out a Wright brother months ago after we read about them. And more so after we visited Kitty Hawk. Way to make history come alive! He does love his inventors.

And he might have worn his hat today too... New personal style? Or he’s fixing to sing Newsies. I’m going with the latter. 🤔
