Student Portrays Historical Figure Orville Wright

Cutest little Orville Wright ever... . . Our annual Faces of History program was last night with my 14 4th-6th grade students each presenting on the person they researched and wrote a paper about. These kids never cease to impress me with their ability to stand up in front of a crowd and recite from memory. Something that would freak out lots of grown ups! . . And this is why they weekly give presentations at our Classical Conversations co-op. All in preparation for skills they need later. CC plus Awana memory work has made my kids into some amazing memorizers. Love it! . . He picked out a Wright brother months ago after we read about them. And more so after we visited Kitty Hawk. Way to make history come alive! He does love his inventors. . . And he might have worn his hat today too... New personal style? Or he’s fixing to sing Newsies. I’m going with the latter. 🤔
