Lichtenstein and Monet Meets Botanical Garden
Lichtenstein and Monet invaded the Marie Selby botanical garden, and so I had to add it to the itinerary. I learned more about both artists - you would think after several years with Lichtenstein for CC I would have heard that he took Monet paintings and made them his own. Just look them up. Gotta see it to understand.

There were about five of the paintings to see - lily pads and haystacks. So different than all his giant pop art cartoon type huge paintings we’ve seen at other museums.

The kids’ play area in the giant banyan trees could have kept them occupied for a long time. We are loving all the giant fig and banyan trees everywhere!

With reciprocity, it’s usually free, but we had to pay $5 per person for the special artist exhibit. Still calling it another deal! I never would have thought that we would be enjoying gardens as much as we do since we’ve had our Atlanta membership.
