Learning Through Strawberry Picking

Don’t tell the authorities, but we had child labor and real life lessons today 😉 We joined forces with other homeschool families to pick excess strawberries at the farm today. They wanted pickers and the kids have fingers! So... . . Amid some frustrations and real-life boss situations, they picked for three hours and earned a bit of money. And hopefully have a bit more appreciation for the migrant workers in the next field over!!! We’re listening to Echo right now so the timing was great! . . None of mine wanted to spend their hard earned money on a snack for some reason... 😉 Pretty good life lessons! Need to find more!
