Modeling Dreams for Our Kids
“You can’t help a child dream if you yourself do not feel free to dream…You are the chief role model of what it means to be an awesome human being.”
— Julie Bogart

I love the idea of showing our kids how to be an awesome adult.
And I owe @juliebravewriter a thanks for that!
The kids are always watching to see how we embrace our adult life. If we complain about how hard and boring and monotonous it is, why would they ever want to be like us?
“If your entire life is constrained by money, time, obligation, duty, worry, planning … Your kids learn that dreams are too big to have and that life is actually about performing necessary tasks not expanding to include lots and lots of possibilities.”
