The father, wearing glasses and a black shirt, is reading a book aloud with animated expressions and gestures, seemingly doing amusing character voices that are captivating the children. A young boy, appearing to be around 5 years old, is wearing a green jersey with the number 15 and is resting his head on his hand, fully absorbed in the storytelling. A girl with long blonde hair, looking slightly older than the boy, is leaning against her father, listening intently. The youngest child, a little girl with blonde hair, is snuggled up to her father, also engrossed in the story. A basket filled with books, including one titled 'Magic Tree House #5: Night of the New Magicians,' is visible beside the couch, suggesting they are enjoying a series of adventure books together as a family.

Family Reading Time with Magic Tree House

I made my five year old cry while I was sitting at the supper table having a grown up conversation with Daddy. She asked me for like the tenth time if we were ready to read the next Magic Tree House. I said no. No to my kid who only the night before had sat down with me for some one of one big book reading time. Her first MTH. Followed by the finishing of one with me this morning and then having a whole other read to my her big sister... she has fallen in love with Jack and Annie over the last 24 hours. Thankfully Daddy with the fun voices came to the rescue and read another book. And these three listened the whole time without complaining. Granted, his voices do rock. Looks like I need to get some more MTH. None of the other really liked them a lot before. Coop also read his first one on his own today! The promise of ice cream goes far...
