Mama Bear Apologetics: Nurturing Faith in the Next Generation

“Don’t worry if you don’t have all the answers - just welcome the inquiries. Allow your children to ask questions, and then dig in with them to find the answers. Doing this will show them that we are never too old to learn, and that we are to continue to grow in our faith and knowledge of God. Remember, God made biology, chemistry, physics, geology, time, space, matter, and everything else. We don’t need to be afraid to look for Him in any of those disciplines. We don’t have to be afraid of trying to answer those tough questions that the world throws at us - and our children.” —- Mama Bear Apologetics —- edited by Hillary Morgan Ferrer . So good. ❤️ . I finally finished it! You have to savor this. Not a quick read but a thinker. It’s wonderful - but I’m so easily book distracted that’s it’s taken way too long to finish. . . This is the book for fighting against the rapid loss of youth from Christianity once they leave your house. To guide mommas (and daddies) who want to know how to fight with their kids against the world. To help you answer your kids questions - or to learn with them. To remind you that it’s okay to push against culture and question what is now becoming standard. . . The whole world of apologetics is relatively new to me, and I don’t know where it’s been this whole time. You would think it would have been a class at my Christian college - right?!! . . Check out this book. Get the study guide. Listen to their podcast. Let’s prepare and be proactive instead of reactive when it comes to our kids. . . I’d love to hear your favorite apologetics book, podcasts.. especially if it’s a great resource for kids too!
