Reclaiming Wonders
A young baby wearing a red Santa hat and a navy blue sweater gazes intently with a serious expression, focused on something outside the frame. The baby's fair skin and chubby cheeks suggest they are just a few months old. In the background, a Christmas tree with twinkling lights and ornaments is visible, establishing the festive holiday setting. The warm orange and green tones create a cozy, homely atmosphere.

Keep Christmas Simple and Peaceful

It’s enough. This is your December reminder. ❤️ . If December adds stress, don’t let it. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of the Christmas holiday don’t you think? . Things you don’t have to do: 🎄Go broke buying presents 🎄Have a fancy Christmas tree and perfect decorations 🎄Wrap presents in color-coordinated, beautiful packages 🎄Attend every possible Nativity or tree lighting or concert or Nutcracker or singing of Handle’s Messiah that sounds like a good idea 🎄Participate in gift exchanges or secret Santa 🎄Go to all the parties 🎄Make time to see “everyone” when you go home for the holidays 🎄Have the best Christmas lights on the block 🎄Bake elaborate cookies for the kids’ party at school … and so much more. . If you’re already stressed, remember that it’s okay to say no. It’s okay to not do it all. The kids will love even the simple things. You aren’t a lesser mom. . Your kids will still have great memories of Christmas —- if you don’t ruin it with your over-done take on it. He is the Prince of Peace. Focus! . “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” —- Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬
