Reclaiming Wonders
A young blond-haired boy is standing on a brick patio in front of a red wooden door, gleefully reaching up with his right hand toward a tall stack of colorful plastic cups. The cups are stacked in a vertical tower, with colors including purple, blue, red, yellow, and orange. The boy is wearing a black t-shirt with a green graphics design and khaki shorts. There are a few scattered plastic toys on the patio around him. The scene appears to be in a residential area, with a brick exterior wall and trim around the door.

Cup Stacking Fun for Homeschool Kids

Who needs toys? Cup stacking is at full force in our house. ;) . . Really though, how was the first week for you new-to-home moms? Anything you want to run by me that I might could help with? Anything that seems to be taking four hours and you know it shouldn’t? . . I’ve been in this mode for six years now... and it is an ever changing, ever different process. They say it takes three years to figure out what you’re doing, and a lot of you have been doing it for only a week... And not even getting to do what you choose. Reach out to a homeschool mom or a teacher mom or just your regular mom and tell her you’re drinking too many cokes and eating too much chocolate ;) . . I always said working was easier than staying home!! ;)
