Family at Badlands National Park

Badlands National park was the next driving destination. We didn't get out and hike like the kids wanted... but they all declared it their favorite part of the day. The rocks and layers are so distinct and Mars-like! We got some distant glimpses of buffalo today but not a lot of other animals. And we got to use the binoculars... that might have really been their real highlight.
