Embracing Childhood Adventures
I wish I could tell the Mama behind this photo….
❤️You’re doing great, Mama. It’s okay to take a break. They need it as much as you do. It’s okay to choose rest.
Here I see…
✅My little boy wearing his favorite pajama shirt in the middle of the day.
✅My little girl wearing goggles on her head while big sister is dressed for play.
✅My three kids wearing their much-loved rain boots.
Here I remember…
✅A magical piece of bamboo that we found exploring the neighborhood lakeafter a storm.
✅An opportunity that would have been lost if priority had been made for “real school”.
✅And a “yes” that could have so easily been a “no”.
❓I don’t remember the exact day six years ago.
❗️But I remember how excited they were to make a create a raft on this adventure.
‼️And I’m so glad I chose “yes” this day.
Adventures with kids don’t have to be big and fancy to be amazing.
🔹Buy your kids rain boots instead of curriculum.
🔹Spend your time exploring not schooling.
🔹And give them time to just be kids.
👉👉Share this with a friend who needs to be reminded.
