Reclaiming Wonders
The image captures a heartwarming scene of three young children engaged in a playful adventure by a body of water, surrounded by residential buildings. The eldest child, a girl with blonde hair, stands on a makeshift raft constructed from bamboo poles and ropes, steadying herself with a long stick. Another girl, crouched on the raft, wears pink pants and a purple shirt, her head adorned with swimming goggles. The youngest, a boy clad in a red superhero shirt, stands on the shore, brandishing a stick as if ready to embark on the adventure. All three children wear colorful rain boots, indicating their readiness for outdoor exploration. The peaceful waters reflect the surrounding houses and trees, creating a serene backdrop for their imaginative play.

Embracing Childhood Adventures

I wish I could tell the Mama behind this photo…. ❤️You’re doing great, Mama. It’s okay to take a break. They need it as much as you do. It’s okay to choose rest. Here I see… ✅My little boy wearing his favorite pajama shirt in the middle of the day. ✅My little girl wearing goggles on her head while big sister is dressed for play. ✅My three kids wearing their much-loved rain boots. Here I remember… ✅A magical piece of bamboo that we found exploring the neighborhood lakeafter a storm. ✅An opportunity that would have been lost if priority had been made for “real school”. ✅And a “yes” that could have so easily been a “no”. ❓I don’t remember the exact day six years ago. ❗️But I remember how excited they were to make a create a raft on this adventure. ‼️And I’m so glad I chose “yes” this day. Adventures with kids don’t have to be big and fancy to be amazing. 🔹Buy your kids rain boots instead of curriculum. 🔹Spend your time exploring not schooling. 🔹And give them time to just be kids. 👉👉Share this with a friend who needs to be reminded. ❤️ Bobbie . . . . . ——// Follow me @reclaimingwonders.
