This 2.5 mile total, in-and-out hike takes you through a box canyon with a bluff cave, several waterfalls, and even a swimming hole. ⚠️We’ve been here during the dry season when there was only a trickle over Eden Falls; another visit had us taking our shoes off to cross streams. Plan accordingly. Lost Valley along the Buffalo National River is about 1.5 hours east of Bentonville or 1.5 hours south of Branson. It’s free, well-marked, and even has a restroom.
