Arabian Mountain Hiking Adventure

#arabiamountain adventure for climbing another monadnock (aka big rock) and exploring the previous granite quarry sites. The walking distance doesn’t seem to bother little people when it is made up of running and jumping and dodging water. Cool place... I would say one of our new favorites. And not crowded! Followed some trickles to turn into a stream, crossed it balancing on a tree... all kinds of daring while I just watched the team work ;) Here’s to many more trips building cairns, identifying the lichen and moss, learning not to touch the not spiky cactus, and looking for diamorpha - the little plants that grow on rocks. And M could tell me what “morph” means... score! ;) Note to self: rock jumping adventures are not the best days to try to have a leaf scavenger hunt ;)
