Reclaiming Wonders
A young child wearing a pink shirt is seated on the floor, intently focused on a board game spread out in front of them. The game appears to be Splendor, a popular strategy game involving the collection and trading of chips and cards. The child is surrounded by various components of the game, including a stack of cards depicting animals and nature scenes, piles of colored chips or tokens, and a canvas bag likely used to store the components. A blue water bottle is visible in the background, suggesting the child is staying hydrated during their gaming session. The wooden floor and the presence of a cardboard box hint that this is taking place in a cozy home environment.

Splendor - A Quiet Game for Introverts and Kids

I figured out why I love Splendor... It’s an excellent introvert game! . . It can be quiet! I can play a whole game with a kid and hardly speak. And I get to touch the chips so it’s pretty tactile. Not too difficult, quick set up, and not a “kid game”. . . It says age 10 on the box but my almost 7 year old rocks it. Age means nothing on most games. Just let the kid try it and adjust. . . We just got the expansion set which adds 4 new games pretty much. It’s a keeper! . . Hit me with more quiet introvert games!! These kids are usually so loud ;)
