Family Museum Adventure

North to Tallahassee for what would be the last stop on our drive home was the Florida State history museum. Meg was driven through by the scavenger hunt, and the rest was mostly an impatient blur until the treasure site at "grandma's attic" where they were allowed to discover and play with discarded items... And meet a sweet little 92 year old volunteer Ms Audrey. Cooper was enamored with the old phone switch board while Meg worked the pedal run sewing machine and old electric stove. Coop wanted to know if we could buy him a switch board ;)I kicked them out after about an hour. It was two and we hadn't eaten lunch yet! Hunter wanted only the train diorama. Fussed and went back to it on his own. He's my train boy. Good free museum, but it's time for home!
