Reclaim Childhood for Your Youngest
Hey, Mama. Lean close. ❤️
You know that baby of the family?
He doesn’t get much of our time.
He’s independent. He’s probably used to being left on his own. 😉
You’re not the same parent to him as you were to the bigger kids. Honestly, you’re not the same mom (or person) you were ten years ago.
It’s not bad. You’re not doing a “bad job”.
It’s just different.
👉But here’s the thing.
It’s never too late to reclaim parts of the childhood that the older kids had.
He doesn’t remember all the hours at the children’s museums because he was just a toddler.
He doesn’t remember the farm exploring days or the picture books you read the others or slow days with trips to the pet store to see the fish…
{Does he even get read to as much as his siblings?
I know mine sure doesn’t!}
✅Plan a day of fun. Simple counts!
✅Put it on the calendar or it won’t happen.
✅Make those big kids come along.
(Or save the money on buying your bigs tickets and leave them at home with their “schoolwork”. Your littlest would love the one-on-one time.)
Here’s your reminder.
He still needs those experiences.
Slow down. And let him be the kid he is.
👉How are you planning to reclaim childhood next year?
👉Don’t forget to make it a real goal or it won’t happen!
