Leonardo da Vinci Biography for Kids

This has been one of our favorite books for #classicalconversationscycle2 studying the Middle Ages. We’ve covered Galileo and da Vinci and Copernicus especially and finding all the biographies we can on these men. This book takes Leonardo’s ideas and shows how they are being applied in modern day inventions. Bringing it to the current. My kids love biographies. They turn and stare at me as I read during morning time. Put down the play doh or whatever they’re occupied with to look at the book. I don’t know if it’s knowing they were real people who did amazing things or because they already have the pegs of knowing the names... But we are hitting the beautiful picture book biographies with gusto! And making all kinds of new friends. What’s the best biography you’ve found that I’ve missed out on? Living books all the way!
