Playground Fun at Freedom Park

Play days are required in my book when you’re hopping from museum to site to fort with a 6 year old. So today was a play day with hidden sites ;) . . Freedom Park is so called because it was the site of a black settlement after they were freed before the Civil War. We looked at the rebuilt cabins, explored the little botanical garden, and spent a couple of hours just being kids. . . Hopefully I stored up enough fun points to start at it again tomorrow ;) Free day of wandering. . . History trip day 4a
