Family Visit to Monticello
The original dry erase board?! TJ’s ivory notebook he carried in his pocket with all his miniature tools. Used a pencil, transferred to his real books, and wiped it off. Such a natural homeschool dad ;)

In typical fashion, the kids will tell Dad over the phone everything they loved about Monticello.... less for me.

My little gardener loved the garden talk, all the flowers, and especially his two acre vegetable garden complete with pumpkins. He bought some seeds for his souvenir.
.
.
K loved the entrance hall with his Lewis and Clark elk antlers and Indian memorabilia. She was very excited to see the bedroom we had read about.

M was nonspecific but I believe she said she liked all of it. And H just wanted write his name in the pea gravel walkway and consider climbing trees. It’s hard to be restricted with so much to explore. I’m pretty sure our new BFF Tom would have told him to climb!

Super cool day trip and the Rona limitations didn’t slow down our appreciation of Monticello. He might be our favorite prez now.
