Picking Up Litter at Local Park
Don’t be part of the problem.
Don’t just complain about it.
Do something to help!
Picking up nature isn’t just about litter on mountain trails. Sometimes, it’s just about picking up trash at the local park while the kids do their skateboard thing… and decide they’d rather slide down the ramps. 😉
After walking a few laps (upcoming hike prep 🏕️🥾🌳!), I picked up five full bags of assorted plastic trash along the trees at the edge. I’m estimating it at ten pounds. Even the smallest clean up still counts! 🚮🗑️🥤
🌟Not to mention.🌟
The kids won’t think it’s important if they don’t see you doing it. ❤️
Now as for the other walkers who watched the weirdo with the bags hunching in the bushes… I’m going to pretend they didn’t think I was just. 😁
Today is March’s #impactday for @keepnaturewild and I’m excited to be an ambassador with these lovely nature-loving people.🏔️🌲💦
Let’s start Earth Day Month right, and go do your part.
👉Go be “trashy” today! 😉
