Reclaiming Wonders
A young boy with short blond hair is seated at a wooden table, intently focused on a board game laid out in front of him. The game consists of a spiraling pattern of colorful discs, resembling a mandala-like design. The boy is strategically placing additional discs to extend the vibrant, concentric circles. Behind him, through a large window, a snow-covered landscape is visible, suggesting it's wintertime. Adjacent to the game board is a boxed game called 'Prime Climb,' indicating this is likely the game the boy is playing. The scene exudes a cozy, indoor ambiance as the boy engages in a thoughtful, solo board game activity.

Morning Games with Kids

New goal for the week - if I put it here, then it’s official 😂 . I’m going to make sure I’m ready by 9:15 to declare a game time before starting morning time at 10. This little booger has been asking me every morning, so I just need to make sure we have time to make it a priority. . I’ve tried games in the AM before, and it just wound them up so they were crazy before books. So far though, this seems to be going okay. . I need to rotate out some games though. One can only play Prime Climb, Quirkle, and Quixx so many times. Right? . Do you incorporate games before gathering in the morning? Such a good way to get their brains up and moving - and motivation for a teen to get out of bed maybe? 😏
