You need this amazing Mars rover book to read while you discuss the Mars helicopter landing tomorrow. Are these crazy times or what?! We loved this book and the kids asked so many questions... and told Dad ;) That’s the sign of a good book! . . You can even watch a video of it being read aboard the space station on Storytime From Space. I didn’t even know this was a thing until now! . . This book has super detailed drawings as it takes you through rover development, launch stages, and exploration of Mars. Reading about the super slow speed and all the tests the Curiosity can do were so interesting. . . And this books feels and smells good - smooth paper, new book smell - book nerds unite! My kids won’t smell books with me... Weirdos! . . I’m so glad we have this book in our library basket right now. Such a fortuitous tie in to real world. . .
