Reclaiming Wonders
The image is composed of four separate pictures that seem to depict a stay at a historic lodge or inn. The top-left picture shows an interior area with a black-and-white checkered tile floor, ornate archways, and a few wooden tables and chairs. Two young boys appear to be engaged in a game of chess on one of the tables. The top-right picture showcases an interior sitting area with vintage furniture, including a red velvet sofa, armchairs, and a coffee table. A large arched window allows natural light to filter in, illuminating the space. The bottom-left picture offers an exterior view of what appears to be the lodge building, featuring a Spanish-style architecture with red-tiled roofs, arched windows, and a central courtyard area. The bottom-right picture captures another interior scene, with a young boy lounging on a red velvet couch, reading or studying. The overall atmosphere seems to convey a sense of historic charm and a disconnection from modern distractions, providing an opportunity for relaxation and quality family time.

Unplugged Historic Lodge Stay

Wakulla Springs has a lodge and we decided to spend the night in this 80 year old place... Slightly creepy. I might have barricaded the weird extra door in our room, but we'll pretend I didn't! Limited phone access, no tv in the room... I highly recommend if you want to unplug your kids to enjoy true vacation. It's supposedly a busy place in the summer. We'll be back someday. For longer next time. Go check it out... Especially you retired friends ;). See the kids working on their chess skills? They're learning that in their unsocialized homeschool group. From people smarter than me!
