Learning Through Travel Experiences
Learning on vacation?? Quit it.
This homeschool mom never said “school” or “learning” during our family trip to Costa Rica.
However, I watched these kids…
🔹Snorkeling the coral reef in the ocean
🔹Starting a new DuoLingo Spanish goal - good thing I didn’t suggest it!
🔹Learning culture differences with food, foreign currency, and grocery shopping
🔹Identifying sloths, four types of monkeys, and lizards everywhere
🔹Watching how toucans, hummingbirds, and macaws fly
🔹Tubing a river and hiking to waterfalls
🔹Making chocolate from scratch
🔹Painting a tree frog with watercolors
🔹Watching Mom and Dad adapt and deal with challenges - flat tire on rental for example!
🔹New family Blackjack and gambling skills - That’s math 😉
🔹… and so much more.
It’s a shame I turned off learning.
Never turn it off. 👏🏻👏🏻
👉👉Sit back, Homeschool Mama.
Travel itself is an education.
Just watch and see the learning.
