Reclaiming Wonders
Three young children, two girls with blonde hair and one boy, are seated on the grass in what appears to be a backyard or park setting. They are engaged in a creative activity involving paint or colorful liquids, pouring and mixing different colors together in a plastic container tray. One child wears a purple shirt, another a tie-dye gray shirt, and the third wears a pink shirt. The lush green grass surrounds them, creating a vibrant and playful outdoor scene. The children seem focused and curious as they explore the colors and textures of the materials before them.

Learning Colors Through Art

Why don't I do this more often? Vinegar and baking soda are pretty cheap. My goal was for them to learn more about colors because honestly they can't seem to get the whole red and blue makes purple thing. Nevermind they do it all day with crayons and paint and bath colors etc. I go outside and say "What do red and yellow make?!" Silence. Then Hunter. "Orange!" I'm glad at least the three year old gets it. There's hope yet. And Mommy had silence in the house to get rid of stuff. Double score! Lots of color projects planned for obvious reasons.
