Reclaiming Wonders
A family room setting with two children, one focused on a laptop and another lounging on a couch. The child using the laptop has blonde hair and is wearing a blue sweatshirt, seated on the floor near a coffee table. The laptop screen appears to display a map or geographic visualization. The other child, with darker hair, is reclining on the couch, seemingly engaged in reading or studying. In the background, a large television is visible, displaying election night coverage with maps and projections. The room has a cozy and lived-in atmosphere, with a rug on the hardwood floor and a wooden cabinet or TV stand.

Kids Learning About Elections

Almost midnight, and the kids are still going strong - Georgia election night problem. Gotta wait on the rest of the country! . . My statistician has his electoral map to color with calculator in hand, glasses on, and constant calculations being done. Other one is rocking some US map study on Seterra online. Big kid is cleaning up and littlest is sleeping. Mom is calling it a night. . . So much learning going on. Including “why we channel flip because they all report differently” Here’s to watching the outcomes and lots of more good conversations. They might have learned more tonight than I knew until I was thirty ;)
