Homeschool Travel Fears You Shouldn't Have
Truth. This list makes me sad. 😢
I asked ChatGPT:
“Give me a list of travel frustrations and fears that homeschool families have.”
But here’s some fears that Mr. AI told me you might have, Travel Mom.
❌Falling behind on educational milestones
❌Limited access to educational resources
❌Planning lessons that align with destinations
❌Long-term impact on academic prospects
❌Not covering all necessary curriculum
❌Lack of socialization skills
Let reframe.
This is a travel list you SHOULD NOT worry about.
However…
Please don’t let any of the above keep you from traveling.
1️⃣Especially if you’re not full-time.
2️⃣And if your homeschool kids are still middle school or younger …
Go have family travels and live it up!
Your kids “can” make up “requirements”…
✅But I would say instead, don’t worry about them.
Granted, I’m not a full-time traveler.
I’m weekend or mid-week or month-long.
Depending on time of year.
(And I’m so thankful that Georgia homeschool life has few homeschool requirements 👏👏👏)
👉👉Family travel experiences way surpass the educational standards someone else set.
👉 Go have some world learning!
If you’re just wanting to explore as much as you can (and stress less while doing it), I’m your girl! @reclaimingwonders
If you’re looking for full-time travel accounts, I’d love to hook you up with some amazing IG friends who are rockin’ it. Without all the bells and whistles and crazy extra add-ons.
❓What keeps you from doing more travel?
Give me the topic for a post 😉
