Reclaiming Wonders
The image displays an assortment of educational materials and books spread out on a wooden surface, likely a table or desk. Front and center is an open textbook titled 'Mindset Mathematics' with accompanying workbooks, suggesting a focus on mathematics education. Several other books are visible, including 'The Hungry Planet' and 'Material World' which appear to be non-fiction books exploring cultural diversity and global perspectives. A book titled '100 Things to Know About the Human Body' and a CD-ROM case labeled 'Pre-Algebra' indicate resources for science and pre-algebra instruction. Other materials include a notebook titled 'Foundations,' possibly a curriculum guide, and a book with a colorful drawing titled 'Draw the World' which may be an art instruction book. The vibrant colors and variety of educational resources suggest a homeschooling or enrichment learning environment.

Homeschool Learning Resources for a Well-Rounded Education

Day 5: Curriculum is a dirty word... My inner rebel runs from it because curricula are what I’m “supposed” to do? I might have friends already betting against me actually sticking with Math U See for my 7th grader ;) . . This will be our 7th year in Classical Conversations and I teach the 4-6th grade writing, grammar, and math games. So I guess that counts. Still not very hard core. . . Mostly I just buy and check out books and put the rest together. I’m book picky... selective... only living, real books with lovely pictures. Textbooks - yuck. . . With Challenge A up this year, I’m super excited about my three geography books and plan on using them for all of us at morning time. With Hungry Planet, Material World, And Window to the World, we will be able to see how people all over the world eat, live, and worship. And pray for them along the way. . . I love Usborne nonfiction books, and this human body book will be a great add on as we finished up our similar space book this last year. . . And math? The other three kids are still a hodge podge, and even though I did buy Math U See, I’m still adding in games, extra topics, and math logic and thinking projects. “I will never be satisfied ;) ... 🎵” . . Inner rebellion. Outer rule follower. ;)
