Family Adventure in Edinburgh

The super troopers waiting to get on a train in Sterling to head into Edinburgh with all the rush hour traffic... The kids who trekked more than six miles (based on accurate iPhone data ;) ) up and down to Sterling Castle, then a second for the day train ride, and a mile long hike in Edinburgh from the train to our house. And half of it in the drizzling rain. Our raincoats and umbrellas were put to work today. First time in 10 days. That must be a Scotland record. We were wet. But we marched on... H is very willing to pint out that he does all that waking without complaining. Jogs right on up when you tell him he’s lagging behind. Big sister, however, has no problems whining! But still, they’re doing much better than I expected. All that said, we’re settled in for Edinburgh for four nights and going to sleep.
