Homeschool Morning Time Routine

Unsolicited homeschool tip #5,443 to new at home school-doers... Morning time! . . We started only a couple of years ago and this year more regularly than before. And I wish I had stuck with it better because it’s the best time of our day. . . This is our together learning. Bible stories, Awana verse review, hymns, prayers, Spanish, history stories, map coloring, Mad Libs, and lots of library books. This is when all the learning that one needs to do can be done by all simultaneously. It’s contents are different daily but I try to make our Jesus learning’ everyday. Because it should be. . . The key is: keep the hands busy. Puzzles, drawing, circuit sets, magic sand, or even tent making as today. Or food. Food always works. . . Make it your own. But let it help you get all the “must dos” and beautiful extras done.
