Reclaiming Wonders
A group of four young boys are seated around a rustic wooden table, engaged in reading and learning activities. The table is covered with a variety of educational materials, including open books on subjects like history, nature, and mysteries. Scattered across the table are workbooks, maps, and activity sheets related to Spanish language learning. The boys are focused intently on their tasks, some writing or reading, while others appear to be engaged in discussion. The room has a cozy, casual atmosphere with a world map displayed on the wall, adding an element of geographic exploration to the learning environment. The scene depicts a homeschooling or informal educational setting, where the boys are encouraged to pursue their intellectual curiosities and develop knowledge across diverse subjects.

Homeschool Learning: History, Spanish, and Educational Adventures

Back at it! Morning time around here happens about 10 after we all sleep in a bit. . If nothing else happens for “real school” in our day, I can know we started with Bible and Prayer. I’ve recently added a thankful list which I should have done years ago. . We’re always digging into history. Love the history. Currently our library books are working through Africa - today was lots of animal fables and a story about having to rebuild your mud school every year in Chad. . With a upcoming mission trip to Honduras and Costa Rica scheme, we’ve been digging into Spanish more. And Spanish bingo is always a great way to end because chocolate chips make great markers 😜 . This Spanish speaker has such a difficult time being consistent. How have you made language learning happen best? I’m all ears! Or oidos if you will 🤓
