Airport Classroom: Embracing Travel as Education

The best school day - in the airport. Travel ❤️✈️ . Nothing is a better teacher than life and travel is my favorite part! I love that my 14 year old tells me I’m not looking at the departures board. That the 7 year old grabs up his bags and takes off to get on the terminal train. And that we get to do it together. . Here’s to raising kids who aren’t nervous to go on a work trip. Who pack up the car to explore. Who take on the new with excitement instead of hesitation. . Current airport “schoolwork”: 📕Challenge B short story being typed and processed for class tomorrow 📗A Minecraft world being created 📘A climax and story chart being drawn out for a story 📙A 7-sided Rubix cube being solved on a phone app . These current projects and all the life skills of the last week totally count as their education. Skiing (and not liking it). Snowboarding. Elevation. Winter exploration. So much. And that Daddy knows the importance of taking a vacation and family time! . We have to change our view of learning! Where’s your favorite schoolroom? 😎🌎✈️
