Exploring Diagon Alley Inspiration in York

#theshambles in #yorkengland is supposedly the inspiration for Rowling’s Diagon Alley which means several Harry themed stores. The upper story does stick out over the lower floors and some look very very old. M looked for a treasure... but didn’t find the perfect thing. We had fun looking though... and she had fun discussing al things #harrypotter with the store owner ;) Maybe tomorrow at King’s Cross.
