Reclaiming Wonders
A young boy with short brown hair is sitting on a tan carpeted floor, focused intently on a game laid out in front of him. He is wearing a blue t-shirt with a graphic design. Surrounding him are several decks of cards featuring colorful illustrations of numbers, shapes, and symbols. The cards seem to be part of an educational or math-based game called 'Skyjo.' The image conveys a sense of childhood curiosity, learning through play, and engagement with educational activities.

Introducing Skyjo: A Family-Friendly Math Game

New game: Skyjo! . So while we haven’t figured out why it’s called Skyjo, we do know... . . * Coop especially likes it because he enjoys negative numbers * Lots of people can play it, so we plan on making it a full family game * It’s relatively easy to learn and not expensive —- both qualities that most games these days don’t have ;) * And while it isn’t the heavy math game I thought it would be, it’s fun and you definitely have to calculate your score with negative points included several times throughout the game * And it’s a good one that will be pulled out for many years to come
