Embracing Simplicity This Easter

Psst. It’s okay to be different. No Easter bunnies required. . You don’t have to have Easter baskets full of chocolate. Or decorations. Or pastel Easter signs. You don’t have to wait in line to take a picture with a scary Easter bunny to make your child’s childhood complete. You don’t have to hide eggs. Or dye them. Or pretend a creepy invader did it 😜 . Simplify. It’s okay. Peer pressure. Not okay. . My girls did ask for Easter dresses, and they got them for the first time in many years. We will make cascarones because it’s fun - not because it has anything to do with Jesus. And I did buy some jelly beans. That’s it. . Focus on what’s important. If you think those other things are fun, go for it. If you think they’re essentials, don’t. . Happy Good Friday. Go to church ❤️
