Reclaiming Wonders
A group of teenagers sit on a small stage in a dimly lit auditorium or theater setting. The stage is illuminated by colorful lighting, casting shades of blue and purple on the scene. The teens, both boys and girls, are dressed casually in t-shirts and shorts, and appear to be in a discussion or sharing experiences, possibly from a recent mission trip or community service project. In front of them, seated on the floor, is a small audience, likely consisting of family members, friends, or church congregants. The image conveys a sense of youthful energy, community engagement, and the enthusiasm of young people sharing their experiences and perspectives.

Youth Missions: Sharing Experiences

“If I get the chance to go back to Honduras or some where else for mission trip, I’m not going to hesitate. I won’t complain about the cost or the schoolwork I miss because all those things are unimportant in the long run. I can catch up, but I might never again get to tell those sweet selfless people about their Savior and that is worth it to me.” Words of wisdom written and spoken by that 14 year old of mine… . These world-traveling mission kids got up front at church last night to share about their trip - and rocked it! No fear. . So glad I didn’t second-guess myself out of Honduras. I snuck in against M’s permission and watched. 😉 Each of these kids are now so special to me - don’t underestimate teens!
