Embracing Adventures Amidst Covid in 2020

How did we manage to travel all over the US in the year of Covid?! My naturally pessimistic self (You know I am!) tends to see this year as a wash and a lot of time at home. Yes, it’s been a stinker of a year, but I need to remember these awesome adventures that we managed to make happen. It was different but so worth it... . . The spontaneous Maui trip right before Covid. Driving from Georgia to Colorado to spend time with both sets of grandparents in the mountains. Lots of local Georgia hikes and beauty with friends. Isle of Palms and Charleston with cousins. History road trip to Virginia and Kitty Hawk. And just now driving back from Christmas in Houston with family. . . Eesh. So many blessings which happened amid the crazy! This upcoming year has nothing exciting planned, but give me some open borders and low numbers... I might just head out! Will?! ;) . . Happy New Year’s Eve — Here’s to making all the adventures, both big and little, count!
