Breathtaking Whale Encounter in Maui

World Whale Day! I couldn’t let the day pass without remembering one of our favorite Maui memories from two years ago. 🐳 . We had done the snorkel and whale watch trip - the kids loved hearing them under the water singing to each other. But once you learn to look for them, you see them all over. . Hanging out at the beach several days later, we watched a pair of humpbacks come up not too far off shore right in front of this paddleboarder. They hung out, breeched… so awesome. . Life lesson: only go to Hawaii during whale season because they’re awesome. Or just go often. Or stay? ❤️ . Watching killer whales in Alaska is definitely on my bucket list. Where have you seen the best whales? Bonus points for me being able to stay on the mainland 😉
