Embrace Your Introverted Side

It’s National Introvert’s Day! Maybe you didn’t hear about it because… introverts. 😃🤫🤐 It’s been a month of busy with concerts and events and parties and travel and lots of people. Introverts know that it’s a lot. Our people need to know that it’s a lot. It’s okay to need quiet. Or alone. Or to hide in your room. Or to long for a sunny hammock in Maui. 😉 It took me way too many years of my life to realize that it’s not me being anti-social or that I’m just grumpy (although I am 😌). It’s okay to need to get away to the coffee shop alone or to watch a movie on your own or even take a little longer route home from the grocery store. So here’s your permission. 👉Leave the sound machine on. 👉Shut the bedroom door. 👉Park the kids in front of a movie. 👉Hide under the covers. 👉Read a book. Or sleep. You deserve it. ❤️ ❓Any other stuff introverts have a fun day (or week?) of lot of nothing planned? My kind of party. 🥳 . . . . 📸📍Maui rental house; January 2020 . . . .
