Children Exploring Nature

Sometimes you have to look for resets. I was certain this rain cancelled beach and adventure day was going to end up in the murder of at least one child. However, we used our breakfast time to do our Bible reading and prayers. And the minute the rain stopped (mostly), we gathered our essential supplies and marched over to our current favorite adventure spot to inspect the rapidly flowing water. This led to bird watching game, hypothesizing, water current watching, flower picking, and that much needed reset. I'm sure the neighbors are getting used to this group and our supplies as they watch the umbrellas, rain boots, nets, and handfuls of treasures being carted down the road. Now you must excuse me. There's a disco party going on in a bedroom....
