A little ironic? The Madness or Crowds showed up the first day we had to quarantine. Positive tests, mild symptoms, and a good book. See the hubs working from home in the background? Don’t you love that cover?! . . I don’t buy lots of fiction, especially hard cover. If I do, it’s a trusted author and a book I know I can escape into again later. I love traveling into Quebec with my friend Inspector Gamache. . I had been waiting for a book to take place during Covid - and here it is. Not as a main part but definitely mentioned as the times. . . This is book 17 in the series. Don’t start here. Go back to the beginning. Read in order. Join the club of those of us who love Louise Penny. . I do recommend doing at least one of audiobook to learn the pronunciation of the Quebecois French names.
