Childhood Moments of Historic Leaders Book Series

Meet one of my favorite biography series: Leaders Doing Handstands. Each book focuses on a different historical character, focusing on event in their childhood that led to their famous role as an adult. . . They’re fun, fact filled, and always have great illustrations. I highly recommend them! We’ve also read the ones about Neil Armstrong, Bill Gates, Amelia Earhart, and Walt Disney. I will warn that you can’t necessarily look up the almost 20 books by author to get them because there are several different authors and illustrators. But worth the effort! . . Pictured are: ☑️ When Thomas Edison Fed Someone Worms written by Mark Weakland and illustrated by Thomas Radcliffe ☑️ When Rosa Parks Went Fishing written by Rachel Ruiz and illustrated by @chiaraillu ☑️ When Martin Luther King, Jr. Wore Roller Skates written by Mark Weakland and illustrated by @patrickballesteros . . Which one will you look for first? Or all? 🤔
