Tips for Dynamic Posing in Photo Shoots

MY BIGGEST TIP FOR POSING 👇🏻 (Save this for your next photo shoot!) Whether you’re the photographer or the subject the biggest key is MOVEMENT! 💁🏼‍♀️ Flip your hair, brush it out of the way, or jump so it looks like it’s floating. 🙌🏻 Move your arms! Put them up, straight out, make triangles with them off your head or hips, or put em in your pockets. 📸 As the photographer lower your angle or raise it. Shoot, as the subject see if there is a nearby object to stand or lean on! 🏃🏼‍♀️ Don’t be afraid to move away from the camera/subject and experiment with more angles, different framing, and compression with your lenses. Honestly, the thing I scream most in my head when watching other photographers is “MOVE!” 99% of the time I see photographers standing straight up with their camera to their face and they never leave that position. Don’t be afraid to make a photo shoot a workout and get the blood flowing! Have you ever been sore from a photo shoot? I sure have! 📸 @sonyalpha A7II @tamronusa 28-200mm @moment CPL filter with mad assist from @madeline.lauren edited by me using @lightroom
