Prioritize Business Knowledge Over Gear
For the haters that think I’m saying gear doesn’t matter, that’s not what I’m saying. What I am saying is that understanding how to create a consistent cash flow machine and investing into that knowledge is far more important than an immediate camera upgrade.
There’s been plenty of times that I’ve gotten the job first and then either bought gear for the gig or rented it. Quality gear is important to produce a quality product, but you won’t even get to that point if you don’t understand how the business works.
Invest in knowledge and you won’t have to worry about the expense of gear.
