Positioning Yourself for Photography/Videography Success
If you’re struggling to book more photo/video work, try switching up your positioning and see how it works for you.
We are conditioned throughout school to prepare ourselves to get a job. We are taught the interview process, how to enhance our strengths and minimize our weaknesses while showing why we are better than the other option.
If you do sales right, there is no other option. You’re in a league of your own and the client wants to talk to you because they know you can help them in a way that no one else can. It’s not about talking about why you’re better, it’s about showing why you are giving them a result they didn’t even know they wanted till they talked to you, and then over delivering!
Don’t be just another video guy/girl that can be hired and fired and commoditized. Immerse yourself to the level that the brand wants to work with you and sacrifice other marketing expenses because they know how valuable you are.
