Jessie on a Journey
A person is standing on a fallen tree trunk that spans across a small creek or stream in a wooded area. The surroundings are filled with bare trees and bushes, indicating a winter or early spring setting. The person is wearing a bright blue jacket and dark pants, and is carrying a hiking stick or pole. The water in the creek reflects the bare trees and muted colors of the environment, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

Peaceful Hike in Chappaqua Woods

Sure, there's no place like home for the holidays; but it's still fun to have a local adventure. Living in Brooklyn, my boyfriend and I decided to take a little jaunt about 45 minutes to Chappaqua, New York, famous home of the Clintons (we even saw their house!). We enjoyed a giant restored farmhouse @Airbnb with fireplace, as well as local hiking in the trail-filled Whippoorwill Park. New Yorkers -- and those visiting New York -- should definitely take a day or two to reconnect with nature and a slower pace of life in this beautiful place. Shameless plug: while you're in the city, though, make sure to book my @NYCPhotoTour for a custom tour with high res photos of your group included! What's your favorite NYC getaway? * ** ***
