India Travel Guide: How To Have A Transformative Trip
Question: Where has been your most eye-opening trip?
During a 3-week trip through India, I exploring Delhi, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, Bundi and Udaipur before taking a domestic flight south to the beach paradise of Goa.
Traveling India isn't easy. Beyond the chaos, you'll come face-to-face with issues like extreme poverty and children who are forced to beg for local mafias.
Traveling India will push you to your limits, but you'll also be introduced to new experiences and will grow as a person.

I'd be lying if I said that Northern India was an easy trip.
Along with the chaos of auto-rickshaws whizzing by, and cow dung every five feet, you're confronted with realities that can be hard to digest. Like extreme poverty, and children forced by local mafias to beg.
As a traveler, India can push you to your limits, but also open your eyes and introduce you to new experiences.
History is rich, whether you're exploring the Ghats in Varanasi or the famed Taj Mahal, cultural experiences like sipping homemade chai, seeing dance and musical performances, and taking part in ancient festivals also abound.
Adorable cows are everywhere, and spirituality is a way of life.
As I wandered, I made local discoveries and met wonderful people, like this woman, who gave me a henna tattoo in her home.
In Bundi, monkey-lined trails brought me closer to nature and peace, as did the sunset in Udaipur. I was happy to end my trip and go a to unwind on the beach, play on the water and let any travel stress melt away through kayaking, yoga and just soakin' up the sun.
Now, I'd love to know, where has your most eye-opening trip been?
