Enjoying Farm Life in Dutchess County, NY

One of my favorite things about exploring the farms in Dutchess County, New York: playing with the farm animals! If you couldn't tell by my recent goat yoga photos -- like this one: instagram.com/p/BVP9OYWh3pO -- I'm a huge animal lover. Here at @sproutcreekfarm I had a blast enjoying the tranquil pace of life, savoring free cheese samples, and roaming the animal-filled barn. ___ And they're not the only stop in town offering whimsy paired with artisanal food and drink. Dutchess County also has a yummy Craft Beverage Trail, and there's a Meet Me in Marlborough Farm Trail in nearby Ulster County. All of this awesomeness is less than 2 hours away from NYC, too! 😎 ___ Where is your favorite close-to-home getaway?
